I can see this took you a very long time. It's hard to critique you on this piece because by your description it doesn't seem this artwork is an original piece but instead a reproduction of an image you really liked from Uncharted.

It's crazy to see you rendered all the little details like the bullets by the gun and the coins on the bottom right. From some of your rendering it seems that some shapes have volume to them (look 3D) while others look flat like they should (the photo of the camel) Well done.

What would make this piece so much stronger is if you took a little more time to separate objects by their value. Each item we see in the world has a local value. I'm not referring to light and shadow but the object's color without light and shadow. After every object has it's own local value you want to place those objects in a way that they stand out from one another instead of blending together all in one. So you may want to place a bright object next to a darker object instead of two dark objects together.

The reason I am saying all this is because you'll see if you keep pushing the values on this piece, all those little items you took the time to draw will stand out on it's own instead of blending into the background.

For example the photo of the camel almost seems to be drawn on part of the map. To help separate the photo and the map, I would imagine that there would be a small shadow as the edge of the photo hits the map and that either the map or the photo is darker than the other. The same thing happens with the money coming out of the passport. Because it seems to be the same value as the map, it blends it making it appear like it is one in the same instead of two separate objects.

I really like the crosshatching you've used on many of the objects to create texture and depth. Just be careful on pieces like the knife that appears to be flat than bubble because of the use of light. Dark recedes and light pushes forward. So anything that is really dark like the middle left part of the knife is going to appear to dip down because it has a highlight to it's right which appears to curve up and a lighter area above it. Not sure if I am making sense or confusing you more haha Hopefully I'm not confusing you but if I am I can doodle on your drawing to show the areas I'm referring to.

Keep pushing! Your drawing can go so much further <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
